Found a $3 million winning letter in spam

A U.S. resident checked her e-mail and accidentally found a message in the “Spam” folder about winning $3 million in the lottery, Tengrinews.kz reports with reference to the Daily Mail.

55-year-old Laura Spears from Michigan saw on Facebook an announcement that a million dollars were being raffled off, went to the lottery website and purchased a ticket. As a result, she coincided with five numbers, plus Megaplayer multiplied winnings by three.

A few days later, she looked through her email and at the same time decided to check her spam folder.

“That's when I saw an email from the lottery saying that I had won the prize. I couldn't believe what I was reading. It still shocks me a lot, I really won $3 million!“ Laura Spears said.

The woman has already taken away the winnings in the lottery office and plans to share money with her family and retire early, as well as check the spam folder more often.

Earlier, a French resident won 220 million euros in the EuroMillions lottery, which is the largest cash prize ever won in the lottery in Europe.
