73% of patients with Omicron strain have a runny nose
This was announced by Professor Nazmul Islam, an official representative of the Main Department of Health of the country, RIA Novosti reports.
Headaches, according to him, were observed in 68 percent of patients, with 64 percent of patients reporting a feeling of fatigue. In addition, at least 60 percent of those infected with this strain complained of sneezing or sore throat, and 44 percent complained about coughing.
"We must pay attention to these symptoms, as they are similar to the symptoms of seasonal flu," the local Internet newspaper bdnews24 reports Islam.
The coronavirus omicron stem, or B.1.1.529, was found in Botswana and South Africa in November. According to experts, they may be infected with those who have been ill and vaccinated. The new option has already been identified in 110 countries, including Kazakhstan. It spreads faster than the previous Delta strain and becomes dominant.
Since the pandemic, Bangladesh, which is the most populous country in the world, has identified almost 1.7 million coronavirus infections.
