This was reported by the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reports ATPress.kz.

“The Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved sanitary rules that provide for a mandatory isolation regime for patients and contact CVI.  For failure to comply with these requirements, an administrative penalty is provided.  The rules come into force on June 10, 2021”, the message says.

According to the order of the Ministry of Healthcare, violators of the self-isolation regime will be identified using the Ashyq information platform.

- So, these systems are a confirmation of the fact of fixing persons with a "red" status when they visit public facilities participating in the "Ashyq" project.  That is, the fact that a sick person who is in quarantine does not comply with sanitary and epidemiological requirements will become a reason for initiating an administrative offense case in accordance with 802 article of the Administrative Code and the adoption of administrative measures against it, - said the department.

If a citizen, intentionally knowing about his infected status, violated the self-isolation regime and deliberately created a threat of infection for others, he faces a punishment in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of 30 MCI or 87,510 tenge.

- The Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control calls on all Kazakhstanis to comply with quarantine requirements and hopes that administrative fines will help control the spread of dangerous infectious diseases such as Covid-19 among the population, - the department added.

It should be noted that the unloading data of the Ashyq platform is recorded in the unified information system of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry.
